Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Grow A Garden 2 - Stock & More (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our mobile application. It is intended to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable privacy laws.
Identifiers
- Device IDs: Used by our advertising partner (Google AdMob) for ad delivery and measurement
- Advertising identifiers: IDFA (iOS) and AAID (Android) for personalized or non-personalized advertising, depending on your choices
- Push subscription ID: If you enable notifications, OneSignal assigns a subscription/player identifier so we can send alerts to your device. We do not receive your name, email, or Roblox account from this
Usage data
- App interactions: How you use the app (e.g. viewing stock, changing settings, saving notification preferences)
- Product interaction data: How you interact with the app in relation to ads
- Advertising data: Information about ads shown and how you interact with them
Notification preferences
- Watched items and weather events: Which stock items and weather events you choose to be notified about
- Stored locally on your device and, when you save notification settings, synced to our backend together with your OneSignal subscription ID so alerts work across reinstalls on the same device subscription
Purchase data
- In-app purchase: Whether you have purchased “Remove ads”; this is stored locally on your device to control whether ads are shown
- We do not receive or store your payment details; those are handled by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android)
Stock and game data
- Public game stock data: We fetch live stock and weather information from public/third-party game data sources and our own backend. This data does not contain your personal Roblox or in-game identity
App functionality
- Live stock & weather: To show current shop stock, rotation timers, and weather in the app
- Push notifications: To alert you when items or weather events you selected are in stock (only if you enable notifications and grant permission)
- Notification sync: To remember your alert preferences on our server, linked to your OneSignal subscription ID
- Remove ads: To honour your purchase and hide ads when you have bought “Remove ads”
- Local settings: Theme, notification toggles, and similar preferences stored on your device
- Performance: So the app runs correctly and we can fix issues
Third-party advertising
- Ad delivery: To show ads in the app via Google AdMob
- Ad targeting and measurement: To show relevant ads and measure ad performance (when you have given consent, where required)
- Non-personalized ads: If you decline tracking or consent, we may still show non-personalized ads
Consent Management
Apple App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
- We may ask for permission to track your activity across apps and websites for advertising purposes.
- You can allow or deny this in the system prompt; you can also change it later in your device settings.
- We use Google’s UMP SDK to manage consent for advertising (e.g. in the EEA).
- You can update your choices at any time via Ad & privacy preferences in the app Settings.
Your choices
- In the app: Use Tracking permission, Ad & privacy preferences, and Google ad settings in Settings to manage tracking and ad consent.
- Notifications: Enable or disable alerts per item/weather event; unregister by turning off all notification toggles and saving, or by disabling notifications for the app in system settings.
- Device settings: On iOS, you can limit ad tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Contact: You can contact us (see below) to ask about your data or withdraw consent.

We do not sell your personal information. AdMob may use data for personalized advertising and cross-app measurement when you have given consent.
Data Tracking and Cross-App Tracking
We and our advertising partners may use tracking technologies to:
- Link data from our app with data from other apps and websites (only where you have consented)
- Deliver and measure advertising
- Improve our services
You can limit or refuse tracking via the in-app consent options and your device settings (e.g. ATT on iOS).
Your Rights and Choices
Opt-out and control
- Ad tracking: Limit or refuse via the app’s consent options and device settings (e.g. “Allow apps to request to track” on iOS).
- Ad personalization: Manage via Ad & privacy preferences in the app and/or Google’s ad settings.
- Push notifications: Turn off in the app (disable all watched items/weather and save) or in your device’s notification settings for this app.
- Remove ads: Purchase “Remove ads” in the app to stop seeing ads.
Data access and deletion
- Local data: Notification preferences, “Remove ads” status, and theme settings are stored on your device; uninstalling the app removes local data.
- Server notification data: If you enabled push alerts, your preferences and OneSignal subscription ID are stored on our backend. Contact us to request deletion of server-side notification registration data.
- Advertising data: Governed by Google’s policies; you can manage preferences in the app and via Google’s ad settings.
- Requests: You can contact us (see below) to ask about your data or request deletion where applicable.
Rights in the EEA / UK / Switzerland (GDPR)
If you are in these regions, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
- Erasure: Request deletion of your data
- Portability: Receive your data in a portable format
- Object: Object to certain processing
- Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent at any time
- Restrict processing: Request restriction of processing in certain cases
How we handle these requests
Contact us: Email growagardenapp@gmail.com and say which right you want to use (e.g. “Access my data”, “Delete my data”, “Object to processing”). You can use the subject line “GDPR request” or “Privacy request” so we can respond quickly.
What we can do:
- Data on your device: Notification toggles, theme, and “Remove ads” status exist on your device. To delete them, clear app data or uninstall the app. We can send short step-by-step instructions if you ask.
- Server notification data: We store your OneSignal subscription ID and watched item/weather lists so push alerts work. Email us to request deletion of this registration; we will remove it from our backend and you can unregister push in the app by disabling all alerts and saving.
- Advertising data: Processed by Google AdMob. We do not keep our own copy of AdMob’s advertising identifiers. Use Settings → Ad & privacy preferences in the app, your device’s tracking settings, and Google’s ad settings to manage that data.
Our process: We will reply within one month (or tell you if we need longer for a complex request). We may ask you to confirm your identity so we do not disclose data to the wrong person.
Withdrawing consent: You can withdraw ad/tracking consent in the app (Settings → Ad & privacy preferences / Tracking permission) and in device privacy settings without emailing us.
Complaints: You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country (e.g. in the UK, the ICO; in the EEA, your national data protection authority).
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information:
- Limited data: We only collect and use what is needed for the app, notifications, and ads.
- Third-party security: We rely on established partners (e.g. Google, OneSignal) that use industry-standard security.
- Local storage: Purchase status and preferences are stored on your device using standard mechanisms.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
- On your device: Settings and “Remove ads” status are kept until you change them or uninstall the app.
- Server notification data: Retained while you have active notification preferences registered; removed when you unregister or upon request.
- Advertising data: Retained according to Google AdMob’s privacy policy and your consent choices.
Children’s Privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the app.

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required by law, we (and our partners) use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions, for such transfers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy (e.g. in this repository and in the app) and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
